Breakthrough in External Venetian Blinds – JA DC Solar Drive

JA DC is the first solar drive for external Venetian blinds offered by Eko-Okna. It’s perfect for new developments, and will be particularly useful for those looking to automate their blinds.

"JA DC in its solar version is a fully autonomous drive," emphasises Michał Karpiński, product manager for blinds. "It is controlled by a radio remote, and all the energy needed for its operation comes from a small photovoltaic panel, so there’s no need to connect it to the electrical grid. When the sun shines, the battery hidden in the box charges, allowing the device to be operated at night or on cloudy days".

The new drive is particularly advantageous for those who want to automate their existing external Venetian blinds. Installation is limited to simply replacing the drive, as there is no need for any construction work, except for mounting the panel on a sunny wall.
