Sport
At Eko-Okna, we have been supporting local communities for years, promoting healthy lifestyles and integrating people regardless of their abilities. That's why we proudly participated in organizing the 46th edition of the Autumn Run in honour of editor Tomasz Kopfer, which took place on September 21-22 in Parzymiechy.
This year’s event was special for us, as it marked the first time we supported the "Golden Run," dedicated to children, youth, and adults with disabilities. Thanks to our involvement, nearly 130 participants were able to take part in this inspiring event, proving that sport is for everyone. This was particularly important to us, as promoting inclusion and equality are values we stand for in our daily operations.
Our commitment to fostering local sports has a long history. We see sport as a tool for building strong social bonds. Additionally, many of our employees are active athletes, part of the Eko-Okna Runners group, which represents the company in numerous running events across the country.
During this year's run, all participants were congratulated, including the winners: Mateusz Pawełczak, Łukasz Grajcar, and Zbigniew Kalinowski. Everyone who participated, regardless of their position at the finish line, demonstrated strength of character and passion, which continues to inspire us to keep moving forward.
At Eko-Okna, we take pride in supporting initiatives that bring real benefits to our communities while also being in line with our philosophy of social responsibility. We believe that working together towards health, inclusion, and equality builds a better future for us all.
