INFINITI Thermo R expands the range of sectional doors with a product featuring a 60 mm thick panel.

Reducing heating bills in every home

– With the current costs of heating homes, we cannot afford garage doors to generate heat losses – emphasizes Janusz Fałowski, director of door production. – That is why we have already introduced INFINITI Thermo F to our offer, and now we are supplementing it with the R system, i.e. a solution equipped with torsion springs located at the back.

INFINITI Thermo R garage doors allow the use of the best solutions even where the lintel is not sufficient for the F system. The F system requires 200 mm, while the R system requires 150 mm. Apart from that, the differences are limited to the 500 mm smaller maximum width of the R door.

The power of the 60 mm panel

– Our most important innovation in INFINITI Thermo doors is the introduction of 60 mm thick panels along their entire height – says Przemysław Kuczera, sectional door designer. – An additional 20 mm of panel thickness compared to the previous 40 mm standard brings us much closer to maintaining the heat inside the garage. The panel's heat transfer coefficient of 0.36 W/m²K puts us among the leaders in this field.

The use of the new panel brings measurable effects. The INFINITI Thermo garage door with dimensions of 5000 x 2500 mm is characterized by a thermal transmittance of U = 0.81 W/m²K, which is a value comparable to very good window systems and puts it in the absolute world forefront in terms of reducing energy losses. The extensive sealing is also important here. We use double seals between the panels, and the double-lip perimeter seal creates a small but very effective thermal chamber.

Safe, durable and extremely easy to use

Safety is a priority when designing all of our products. It is no different in the case of INFINITI Thermo R. The construction of the panel with a lock that fulfills the FINGER PROTECTION function protects our fingers. The applied protection against the effects of spring breakage prevents uncontrolled falling of the door, and the amperometric force measurement, which the drives are equipped with, protects against the effects of crushing.

– Our doors are a purchase for years. The only element that will need to be replaced in about a decade are the torsion springs that lift the weight of the door. INFINITI Thermo R is designed for 25,000 cycles of trouble-free operation – emphasizes director Fałowski.
