The Somfy RS100 Solar io roller shutter drive is a solar drive, i.e. a solar-powered device. It can be installed non-invasively in any type of external roller shutter as it does not require a connection to the electricity grid.
The device is adapted to work with the TaHoma® application for managing smart home systems. This allows the drive to be used alongside advanced interior temperature control tools such as Smart Control to help reduce heating and air conditioning costs. In addition to smartphone devices, wall-mounted or mobile remotes can be used to control the RS100 Solar io.
The drive features quiet operation and its speed can be fine-tuned to the user's preference. Operating time on a single charge is up to 45 days*.
