The end of 2020 was not kind to the people of Croatia. On December 29, the country was hit by the strongest earthquake in 140 years, the epicenter of which was near the city of Petrinja in the Sisacko-Moslavice district.

At least seven people died and hundreds were left homeless. The injured were transported to nearby schools, military facilities and neighboring towns. Patients from hospitals in Sisak and Petrinja were also evacuated.
The whole world has set out to help the people of Croatia
Only a few days after the tragedy, trucks with gifts started arriving in the city. Fundraising has started. The reconstruction of houses has also started, in which the Eko-Okna company is helping. We sent windows to Croatia. Although it is certainly a drop in the ocean of needs, we hope that, together with the windows, we gave the injured a bit of hope for a better tomorrow. photo from PAP
